Dr. Maricela Cantuna practices full-scope optometry at American Vision Center, caring for patients in English and Spanish.
Dr. Maricela Cantuna earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Salus University in 2023, after completing a bachelor's degree in Biology at Montclair State University. With training across several renowned institutions, she has developed expertise in primary and refractive care, ocular disease, dry eye, glaucoma, contact lenses and pediatric care. She began her career at Optical Academy in New Jersey, focusing on myopia control, special needs exams and post-cataract care. Outside the clinic, Dr. Cantuna enjoys baking and movie nights with her son.

Dr. Pooja Kadakia, OD

Dr. Pooja Kadakia is a glaucoma-certified therapeutic optometrist accepting patients at American Vision Center.
Dr. Kadakia is skilled in delivering a wide range of optometric services and is trained in the treatment and management of eye disease. She has a special interest in dry eye disease diagnosis and management, specializing in punctal occlusion therapy. Dr. Kadakia obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia before earning her Doctor of Optometry from Salus University.
